Production Leader

About the role

The Production Leader oversees daily operations on the manufacturing floor, ensuring production targets are met or exceeded. This hands‑on leader drives continuous improvement, guarantees compliance with quality and safety standards, and supports team development through training and mentorship.

Key responsibilities

• Manage personnel and operations on the manufacturing floor.
• Ensure adherence to the production plan for on‑time delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Review schedules, estimate labor hours, and adjust work schedules to meet changing demand.
• Develop job descriptions, training plans, and conduct performance reviews for direct reports.
• Analyze operational challenges, gather data, and implement improvements to methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
• Apply Lean principles and collaborate with supply chain, warehouse, and materials teams to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Partner with engineering, support, and finance teams to troubleshoot equipment issues and identify improvement opportunities.
• Interpret and enforce company policies, safety regulations, and system access assignments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• Three or more years of hands‑on leadership experience in manufacturing operations.
• English proficiency at B1/B2 level (Common European Framework).

• MES or other production tracking systems.
