Product Security Architect (9‑month temporary)

About the role

Axonius is looking for a Product Security Architect on a 9‑month fixed‑term contract. You will join a fast‑moving Product Security team, working closely with R&D groups in Israel and Portugal to embed security into the development lifecycle of its AI‑driven platform.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with R&D teams to define, prioritize and implement security requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
• Perform architecture, design and threat‑modeling reviews for web applications, AWS cloud services and distributed systems.
• Create clear security architecture documents, design specifications and technical guidelines for engineering teams.
• Lead incident‑response activities during active cyber‑security events, coordinating remediation across engineering.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in application or product security.
• 2+ years of hands‑on software development experience.
• Proven ability to analyze and evaluate code‑base architecture in a product‑centric stack.
• Practical experience working directly in AWS environments and building threat models.
• Active use of AI/LLM tools (e.g., Claude, Augment) to improve development workflows.
• Fluent written and verbal communication in English.
