Product Compliance Counsel

About the role

Social Discovery Group (SDG) is seeking a Product Compliance Counsel to ensure its social entertainment platforms meet all legal and regulatory requirements. This remote, full‑time position will work closely with product, marketing, and AI teams to assess compliance risks and implement corrective actions.

Key responsibilities

• Review and approve product specifications for websites and mobile apps, assessing compliance risks related to features, user journeys, monetisation models, and platform requirements.
• Conduct product compliance audits and support incident response activities.
• Review marketing materials and campaigns for compliance with consumer protection, advertising, and platform guidelines.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments in relevant jurisdictions and communicate updates to internal stakeholders.
• Track sanctions‑related regulatory changes and support internal sanctions controls.
• Develop and deliver compliance training, onboarding materials, and internal guidance documents.
• Assess AI‑enabled products, features, and third‑party integrations for legal compliance and support AI governance controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law.
• Strong knowledge of consumer protection, marketing, and advertising laws in the EU and the USA.
• Familiarity with EU and US digital legislation, AI governance, and app store guidelines (Apple Store, Google Play).
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills (B2+).
