Procurement Sustainability Officer - Substance Declaration Support

About the role

The Procurement Sustainability Officer will support Airbus Global Business Services in developing and implementing the Sustainable Supply Chain Roadmap. The focus is on managing substance declaration data, ensuring compliance with regulations such as REACH, RoHS, PFAS, SCIP, and Conflict Minerals, and enhancing digital tools for supplier data collection.

Key responsibilities

• Support the rollout and continuous improvement of the Sustainable Supply Chain Roadmap (SSCR) projects.
• Deploy and maintain the Compliance Data Exchange (CDX) platform for substance and material data collection.
• Lead sustainability data collection campaigns, from strategy design to supplier engagement and data validation.
• Perform consistency checks on supplier declarations before integration into central databases.
• Prepare digital dashboards, compliance scorecards, and KPI reports to monitor supply‑chain adherence.
• Identify and propose digital enhancements to CDX workflows and reporting templates.

Required profile

• University degree in Environmental Science, Chemical/Materials Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of product/material compliance (REACH, RoHS, PFAS, SCIP, Responsible Minerals) within an aerospace supply‑chain context.
• Hands‑on experience with digital compliance tools, preferably CDX or similar ESG platforms.
• Fluency in English and ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
