Procurement Manager

About the role

Arolla, a vertically integrated CLT manufacturing and construction group, is seeking a hands‑on Procurement Manager to lead its end‑to‑end purchasing function. Reporting to the Head of Finance & Procurement, you will be responsible for sourcing raw materials, production inputs and services while ensuring sustainability standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full procurement cycle from supplier identification, RFQs, negotiation, PO issuance to goods receipt validation.
• Build and maintain an approved vendor list, conduct performance reviews and develop strategic partnerships.
• Source timber, construction materials, technical components and services aligned with quality and sustainability requirements.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Architecture and Finance to forecast demand and avoid supply disruptions.
• Maintain accurate purchasing data in the ERP system, from requisition to goods receipt.
• Monitor market trends, drive cost optimisation and manage supplier‑related risks.
• Support the creation of procurement policies, approval workflows and internal controls.

Required profile

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of procurement or supply‑chain experience, preferably in manufacturing, construction or real‑estate development.
• Hands‑on ERP experience with purchase order, inventory and reporting modules.
• Proven ability to negotiate complex contracts and manage multiple vendors.
• Detail‑oriented, highly organised and comfortable in a fast‑paced scale‑up environment.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English (written and spoken).
