Procurement Manager

About the role

Arolla is seeking a hands‑on Procurement Manager to own the end‑to‑end purchasing function for its CLT manufacturing and construction operations. Reporting to the Head of Finance & Procurement, you will source and manage suppliers while ensuring sustainability, cost efficiency, and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement cycle from supplier identification and RFQs to negotiation, PO issuance, and goods receipt validation.
• Build and maintain an approved vendor list, conduct performance reviews, and develop strategic partnerships.
• Source timber, construction materials, technical components and services in line with quality and sustainability standards.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Architecture and Finance teams to forecast demand and avoid supply disruptions.
• Record all purchasing activity in the ERP system, ensuring data integrity from requisition to receipt.
• Monitor market trends, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and consolidate contracts.
• Assess supplier‑related risks and support vendor governance activities.
• Help develop procurement policies, approval workflows and internal controls to support scaling and compliance.

Required profile

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement or supply‑chain experience, preferably in manufacturing, construction or real‑estate development.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English, both written and spoken.
• Detail‑oriented, highly organised and comfortable in a fast‑paced scale‑up environment.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
