Process Specialist for Assembly Engineer

About the role

Bosch Group is seeking a Process Specialist for Assembly Engineer to define equipment requirements, install and optimise assembly line processes, and ensure compliance with Bosch and automotive standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define equipment requirements and process specifications aligned with Bosch guidelines and automotive industry standards.
• Install, validate, and optimise new processes and equipment on assembly lines, including layout adaptations.
• Establish parameters and methods for process capability studies.
• Conduct pre‑acceptance and final acceptance of equipment with suppliers, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and Bosch rules.
• Implement Yokoten practices to drive knowledge sharing and standardisation.
• Collaborate during product development phases to ensure robust and stable processes for new and existing products.
• Lead creation and maintenance of standard Process FMEA (PFMEA) and Control Plans.
• Identify improvement opportunities in equipment performance and develop innovative solutions to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Monitor process performance using KPIs such as OEE, IRR, IDC and define actions for continuous improvement.
• Train maintenance and production teams on assigned processes.
• Participate in global process community, sharing and defining new technologies.
• Lead and contribute to problem‑solving activities and task forces related to assembly processes.
