Process Control Specialist

About the role

The Process Control Specialist coordinates quality activities across value streams, managing product and process non‑conformities and CAPA. The role leads a team of Inspection Operators and acts as the key link between Production, Quality, Engineering and other support functions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end‑to‑end workflow for product and process non‑conformities and CAPA records, from detection through containment, investigation and closure.
• Lead a team of 10‑15 Inspection Operators, defining daily priorities, allocating resources and ensuring consistent inspection practices across shifts.
• Facilitate root‑cause analysis with Production, Quality, Engineering and translate findings into proportionate corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor open non‑conformities and CAPAs, track ageing, implementation status and effectiveness, escalating risks as needed.
• Maintain and harmonise quality documentation, inspection routines, defect catalogues and ensure changes are reflected in work instructions and training.
• Coordinate transversal implementation of approved containment, corrective and preventive measures, avoiding isolated local solutions.
• Support audits, inspections, management reviews and regulatory requests by ensuring records are complete, traceable and available.

Required profile

• Higher education degree in Quality, Engineering, Life Sciences, Industrial Management or related field.
• Professional experience in quality, manufacturing quality, non‑conformity management, CAPA or similar operational quality role.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a first‑line team and coach team members.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese, written and spoken.
• Willingness to work primarily on site and support multiple operating shifts.
• Experience with structured problem‑solving, root‑cause analysis and effectiveness verification.
• Good command of Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
