PHP Developer – Full‑Stack & Innovation Focus

About the role

Celfocus is looking for a PHP Developer who thrives on both modern and legacy technology stacks and enjoys experimenting with emerging trends. You will work on full‑stack solutions that span Java, Python, Angular.NET and cutting‑edge domains such as Blockchain, AI, Data Science, Security and IoT.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy full‑stack applications, primarily using PHP 8.
• Collaborate with Product/Value Owners and Solution Architects to define roadmaps and technical solutions.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to Celfocus’ internal PHP community.
• Participate in innovation initiatives and represent Celfocus at tech conferences.

Required profile

• Strong object‑oriented programming mindset.
• Ability to adapt to diverse teams, clients and international projects.
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to travel when needed.
• Proactive, autonomous, and comfortable working in agile environments.

Required skills

• PHP 8 (minimum 4 years experience).
• Java (minimum 2 years experience).
• Web services knowledge: HTTP, SOAP, REST, JSON.
• Microservices architecture and SOLID principles.
• Relational databases, preferably MSSQL.
• Version control and CI tools: Git, Jira.
• Cloud and container platforms: AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker.
• Agile methodologies: Scrum and/or Kanban.
• Familiarity with TELCO BSS/OSS architecture is a plus.
