Pharmacy Manager

About the role

The Pharmacy Manager provides empathetic consulting services, ensures accurate medication dispensing, and leads a high‑performing pharmacy team. This role balances patient care, operational efficiency, and financial performance within a retail pharmacy environment.

Key responsibilities

• Engage patients, answer medication questions, and deliver clinical services such as immunizations and diagnostic testing.
• Oversee pharmacy workflow, staff scheduling, inventory management, and compliance with regulatory and company policies.
• Manage pharmacy financials, insurance claim processing, and asset protection activities.
• Lead staff performance, training, coaching, and professional development initiatives.
• Develop relationships with local healthcare providers and promote pharmacy services in the community.

Required profile

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. with current pharmacist licensure in the relevant states.
• At least 1 year of pharmacy experience including dispensing, recordkeeping, compliance, and insurance billing.
• Certified Immunizer or willingness to become certified within 90 days of hire.
• Strong communication skills and ability to foster a positive patient and employee experience.
