Pharmacy Enrollment Analyst (Medicaid Licensing)

About the role

Optum is seeking a Pharmacy Enrollment Analyst to support Medicaid provider enrollments for its owned pharmacies in San Juan. The role focuses on maintaining accurate licensing records, ensuring timely secondary filings, and communicating with state Medicaid agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Run reports from the BLH system and track secondary filings, including license expiration dates and filing status.
• Update and upload current Board of Pharmacy, city/business, and DEA licenses via portals, fax, email, or paper submissions.
• Maintain the BLH database by adding new enrollment records, updating dates, and verifying completeness of information.
• Review incoming license notifications, record them in the Secondary Filings Tracker, and file documents on the shared drive.
• Reset portal passwords as needed and keep the internal password tracker up to date.
• Ensure correct pharmacy information (name, Medicaid ID, NPI, license expiration) is provided to state agencies.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in pharmacy licensing, Medicaid enrollment, or a related administrative role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow up with state agencies via phone and email.
• English proficiency assessment required after application.

Required skills

• Experience using the BLH database or similar licensing management systems.
