Part-Time IT Support Engineer – Backfill

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time IT Support Engineer to provide on‑site deskside assistance and act as a back‑fill for our primary engineer during planned or unexpected absences. The role is based in Oeiras, Lisbon and is offered on a one‑year contract with the possibility of extension.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site deskside support to end‑users, troubleshooting Windows, Office 365, hardware and software issues.
• Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, printers and other peripherals.
• Manage incidents and service requests using a ticketing system (ServiceNow, Jira or similar).
• Support Active Directory, VPN connectivity and basic networking tasks.
• Provide coverage for the primary on‑site engineer during vacations, holidays or other leave to ensure continuous IT support.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in IT/Desktop support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office 365.
• Hands‑on experience with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow or Jira.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, VPN and basic networking concepts.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
