Part-Time Cashier – Walmart Supercenter

About the role

Join the front‑end team at Walmart Supercenter #1854 as a Part‑Time Cashier. You will be the first point of contact for shoppers, greeting them, scanning items, processing payments and ensuring a smooth checkout experience.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system to ring up merchandise accurately.
• Greet customers, answer basic questions and provide friendly service.
• Handle cash, credit, debit and digital payments, and issue receipts.
• Process returns, exchanges and price adjustments according to store policy.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including bagging stations.
• Stand for extended periods while delivering consistent, courteous service.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift modest items.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, customer‑focused attitude.
• Reliability for scheduled shifts, including evenings and weekends.
