About the role
Emergency Care Unit is seeking qualified paramedics to join its Emergency Care Unit team in Luquillo. The role involves providing assessment, treatment, and transport for patients in a Type‑3 ambulance, focusing on emergency and critical‑care situations.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients during emergency calls and critical‑care transports.
- Operate a Type‑3 ambulance safely and efficiently.
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure high‑quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and equipment readiness.
Required profile
- Permanent or provisional paramedic license issued by the Department of Health.
- Permanent or provisional driver’s license from the Negotiated Transport and Other Public Services (NTSP) for ambulance operation.
- Current BLS (CPR‑AED) certification for health professionals.
Required skills
- BLS (CPR‑AED) certification.
