Packaging Coordinator – Europe (Huelva or Boavista)

About the role

The Packaging Coordinator ensures smooth, efficient, and compliant packaging operations across Europe. Working on‑site, you will act as the central hub between internal teams, suppliers, and external 3PL warehouses, driving alignment of packaging materials, planning, and execution.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor packaging activities at external warehouses (3PLs).
• Plan and align packaging requirements across multiple locations and partners.
• Serve as the primary contact for logistics providers on packaging matters.
• Manage and reconcile packaging inventory in DAX systems.
• Follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely closure.
• Support invoicing processes and resolve supplier claims.
• Monitor supplier performance (delivery reliability, quality, completeness).
• Control packaging waste at external sites.
• Assist with compliance activities such as BRC documentation and certificates.

Required profile

• Structured, proactive professional with strong coordination abilities.
• MBO‑level education or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or a related field.
• Experience working with external partners (3PLs) is a strong plus.
• Background or training in logistics or supply chain is advantageous.
• Familiarity with packaging, food safety, or BRC standards is beneficial.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and reporting skills.

Required skills

• DAX (Microsoft Dynamics AX) inventory management system.
