Outsystems Solutions Architect

About the role

Hiscox is expanding its OutSystems capability through a Centre of Excellence. The role blends hands‑on engineering, solution architecture and technical leadership to design and deliver scalable, secure applications using the OutSystems Developer Cloud (ODC).

Key responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture and application design using OutSystems ODC.
• Define technical standards, reusable patterns and engineering best practices.
• Design integrations with REST APIs, event‑driven patterns and Azure services.
• Conduct code and architecture reviews, support DevOps, CI/CD and lifecycle management.
• Ensure security, resilience, scalability and performance requirements are met.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to CoE assets and accelerators.

Required profile

• Experienced OutSystems professional capable of translating complex business requirements into enterprise‑grade solutions.
• Ability to influence technical direction, mentor engineers and collaborate across architecture, integration and platform teams.
