Order Management Specialist

About the role

The Order Management Specialist will support ALEBS’s procurement function by handling urgent purchase requests, ensuring value, quality and compliance while contributing to the company’s operational excellence initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Process urgent procurement needs quickly, using sourcing expertise to obtain best value and quality.
• Monitor and improve turnaround time from requisition to purchase order, including PR analysis, RFQ preparation and offer review.
• Identify and generate savings by comparing awarded prices with predefined baselines.
• Design, approve and continuously optimise Spot‑Buy procedures (SOPs) in line with category‑card guidelines and manager instructions.
• Conduct regular meetings with the Tactical Procurement Director and category/country buyers to discuss spot‑buy reduction opportunities.
• Report achieved savings and service‑level performance to the Spot Buy & Requisitioning Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Supply Chain or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 0–1 year of relevant experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
