Oracle Cloud Engineer (OCI & OIC)

About the role

This full‑time remote position is open to candidates across Latin America and requires overlap with Puerto Rico business hours. The Oracle Cloud Engineer will administer, secure, and improve Oracle Cloud Infrastructure environments while designing and supporting integrations on Oracle Integration Cloud for enterprise and government clients. You will work directly with clients and partners, translate requirements into technical solutions, and own incident resolution from detection to root‑cause analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, secure, and improve OCI environments, covering compute, networking, IAM, Autonomous Database, storage, and monitoring.
• Design, build, and support integrations on OIC, including REST and SOAP adapters, orchestrations, scheduled jobs, and error handling.
• Monitor platform health and integration performance, driving improvements in reliability, security, cost, and disaster‑recovery readiness.
• Participate in troubleshooting sessions and requirements meetings, turning discussions into technical designs and working solutions.
• Own incidents end‑to‑end, from detection through root‑cause analysis and Oracle Support follow‑up.
• Automate operational tasks with scripting and infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
• Document architectures, configurations, integrations, and procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Experience building and supporting integrations on Oracle Integration Cloud.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, scripting (Python or similar), and Oracle Fusion Cloud applications.
• Comfortable in client‑facing meetings and able to explain technical issues to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• Availability to overlap with Puerto Rico business hours (AST, UTC‑4).
