Operations Director – Healthcare Network

About the role

Diaverum Portugal is seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead and evolve the operational performance of its nationwide renal‑care network. The role combines strategic oversight with day‑to‑day execution to ensure high‑quality, consistent care for thousands of patients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead operational excellence across a network of ~28 clinics, driving consistency, quality and efficiency.
• Manage financial performance in line with strategic objectives and growth plans.
• Partner with senior leadership, including General Management and Medical Directors, to align operational priorities.
• Optimize capacity, productivity and sustainable growth of services.
• Ensure robust governance, risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and inspire high‑performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability.
• Represent Diaverum with health authorities, partners and other key stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven senior operational leadership experience, ideally within healthcare or other complex service environments.
• Strong track record of performance improvement and transformation.
• Ability to influence and align stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Strategic thinking combined with disciplined execution.
• Experience in multinational or structured organisational settings.
• Relevant academic background and fluency in English.
