About the role

Vila Vita Village is seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead the German‑market segment of its luxury resort in the Algarve. The role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences for German‑speaking leisure and corporate groups while maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all property operations, ensuring seamless day‑to‑day performance.
• Manage operations dedicated to leisure and corporate German‑speaking groups.
• Guarantee daily operational excellence and uphold luxury hospitality standards.
• Oversee personalized guest experiences tailored to German market expectations.
• Develop, mentor, and retain high‑performing teams.
• Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and best‑practice implementation.

Required profile

• Fluent German (mandatory) and fluent English.
• Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Minimum five years of senior leadership experience in luxury hospitality.
• Proven track record in delivering personalized service at a high‑end resort.
• Strategic leadership capabilities and a strong service mindset.
