OpenShift Specialist – Distributed Cloud

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled OpenShift and/or Kubernetes Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and supporting OpenShift and/or Kubernetes environments, focusing on administration, image management, project integration, and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the health of OpenShift and Kubernetes clusters and take corrective actions as needed.
• Perform updates and upgrades on OpenShift and Kubernetes clusters following best practices.
• Install new OpenShift clusters according to established procedures and standards.
• Participate in a weekly on‑call rotation to provide support and maintenance.
• Build “Factory” images from Red Hat base images using Dockerfile and Jenkins pipelines.
• Assist with development and automation tasks across the entire OpenShift scope.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in OpenShift 4.x and/or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with ArgoCD, Helm, Grafana, and Prometheus for deployment and monitoring.
• Experience with Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management (RHACM).
• Proficiency in automation using Ansible and scripting in Python.
• Solid understanding of version control using Git.
• Linux system administration experience.
