Observability Engineer – Enterprise Monitoring & Telemetry

About the role

Join Havi’s Supply Chain Technology team as an Observability Engineer. You will design, implement, and evolve enterprise‑wide observability capabilities, ensuring that system health, performance, and reliability are visible, measurable, and actionable across global platforms and services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain logging, metrics, and tracing platforms at scale.
• Define instrumentation standards for applications and infrastructure.
• Create dashboards aligned with Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and health indicators.
• Optimize alerting frameworks to reduce noise while improving signal quality.
• Ensure telemetry pipelines are reliable, cost‑efficient, and scalable.
• Collaborate with SRE, Platform Engineering, and Application Development teams to embed observability into service design.
• Continuously improve detection speed, diagnostic capabilities, and error‑budget visibility.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in monitoring, observability, or SRE‑related roles.
• Proven experience implementing enterprise‑level logging and metrics platforms.
• Experience supporting cloud‑native or distributed systems in a global environment.
• Strong knowledge of alert design, signal‑to‑noise optimization, and SLO‑driven monitoring.
