Nurse (ADN) – Cardiac Clinic

About the role

We are seeking an ADN‑qualified Nurse to support our cardiac clinic operations. The role involves scheduling, patient preparation, and coordination of device‑related studies while ensuring a smooth admission process.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule pacemaker and defibrillator clinic appointments and follow‑up visits.
• Perform electrocardiograms (ECGs) for office patients.
• Arrange patient appointments for cardiac monitor connections and manage device return after study completion.
• Verify insurance authorizations and referrals before scheduling office studies.
• Orient patients on the hospital admission process and provide necessary documentation.
• Prepare and complete admission forms and coordinate procedures with hospital staff and medical‑device companies.
• Collect and record vital signs and clinical information during appointments.
• Prepare and submit service reports as requested.

Required profile

• Associate degree in nursing (ADN) required.
• No prior experience required; ability to work independently.
• Organized, thorough, and dependable.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Courteous with office staff and patients.
• Committed to maintaining confidentiality of patient and company information.

Required skills

• Proficiency with word processors.

• Strong general computer skills.
