Node.js Software Developer – Backend Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Node.js Software Developer to join our growing IT consulting team. You will work on backend applications for a variety of clients, contributing to impactful technology initiatives across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications using Node.js.
• Collaborate with clients to analyse business and technical requirements and propose effective solutions.
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams to design, develop, and deliver high‑quality software.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and maintainability by following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Adapt quickly to different projects, industries, and business environments.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders through a consultative, client‑focused approach.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• 2–3 years of professional experience developing backend applications with Node.js.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency with Git and Agile development methodologies.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team‑oriented mindset.
• Client‑facing experience with a consultative approach.
• Good spoken and written English.
