.NET Developer – Banking Sector

About the role

We are looking for a .NET Developer to join our Banking sector team in Porto. You will design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code while collaborating with cross‑functional teams. The role also involves mentoring junior developers and ensuring high code quality.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce best‑practice standards.
• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement of the codebase.
• Guide and support junior developers, promoting good programming practices.
• Create scalable architectures and robust solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Collaborate with product teams, designers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand system requirements.
• Write unit tests, ensure adequate test coverage, and maintain code quality over time.
• Diagnose and resolve complex performance, scalability, and bug issues.
• Focus on code optimization and performance tuning using profiling and analysis techniques.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong background in object‑oriented development techniques.
• Professional experience with C#.NET Core, and Azure DevOps.
• Solid experience with SQL Server.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); French is a plus.
