Multicraft Technician (Instrumentation Tech/Industrial Mechanic)

About the role

Mentor Technical Group is seeking a Multicraft Technician to support FDA‑regulated life‑science facilities. The role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing instrumentation, electrical, and mechanical equipment that directly impacts manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute maintenance activities on electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation systems according to established procedures.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Document all work performed in the CMMS for traceability and compliance.
• Follow client‑specific safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Participate in required training and stay current with regulatory standards.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of experience in a regulated environment such as pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device manufacturing.
• Proven ability to work independently on complex instrumentation and mechanical systems.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance with FDA guidelines.
