Mould / Composites Service Repair Technician

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Mould / Composites Service Repair Technician to join our team in Aveiro, Portugal. You will work on‑site supporting composite repair, mould maintenance, and wind turbine blade manufacturing for an international client base.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and refurbish composite moulds, tooling, and structures used in wind energy, aerospace, marine, automotive and industrial sectors.
• Perform preventive maintenance, cleaning, polishing, waxing and surface conditioning of moulds and fixtures.
• Carry out dimensional and visual inspections to verify mould integrity and compliance with quality standards.
• Repair damaged fiberglass, carbon‑fiber and other composite components using grinding, sanding, cutting, filling, laminating and finishing techniques.
• Apply gel coats, resin systems, adhesives and other composite repair materials to restore dimensional and cosmetic specifications.
• Diagnose root causes of mould and composite defects and implement corrective actions.
• Travel to multiple project sites across Europe and, when required, outside Europe.

Required profile

• Proven experience in composite mould inspection, maintenance and repair.
• Ability to work on‑site, follow safety procedures and minimise downtime.
• Willingness to travel frequently and adapt to different project locations.
