About the role

Join Bosch eBike in Braga as a Model‑based Developer focused on drive software. You will shape intelligent functions that enhance the riding experience for millions of cyclists worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of software functions such as walk assist, gear‑shift detection and tuning detection – from concept through implementation to validation.
• Write robust, maintainable code and ensure high quality through unit and integration tests and thorough documentation.
• Validate and optimise features both in MATLAB/Simulink simulations and on actual bicycles to bridge the gap between code and real‑world performance.
• Analyse system behaviour, diagnose root‑cause errors and drive continuous software improvement.
• Collaborate with international teams in Germany, aligning requirements, defining interfaces and co‑creating technical solutions in an agile environment.

Required profile

• A passion for cycling and sustainable mobility.
• Professional software development experience with a focus on model‑based engineering.
• Ability to work hands‑on with hardware and simulation tools.
• Strong analytical mindset and systematic problem‑solving skills.
