Mobile Tech Lead

About the role

Zühlke is looking for a Mobile Tech Lead to drive the design, development and delivery of mobile applications for a leading HVAC client. You will work on a long‑term project that aims to digitise the industry and reduce energy consumption.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the mobile architecture, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
• Lead technical decisions across projects, guide implementation, and guarantee high‑quality outcomes.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers and clients to shape road‑maps and turn ideas into scalable solutions.
• Design, develop and maintain Flutter‑based applications and platforms.
• Conduct code reviews, promote best practices and continuous improvement.
• Mentor team members, share technical expertise and introduce emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in mobile application development and architecture.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Required skills

• Flutter development (including unit, widget and integration testing).
• Native mobile technologies for iOS and Android.
• CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions.
• Experience with BLE and NFC technologies (interest or initial experience acceptable).
