Mobile Engineer (React Native/Swift)

About the role

As a Mobile Software Engineer II at Iterable, you will independently deliver mobile features and projects while collaborating with the team on architectural challenges. You will work on both cross‑platform React Native components and native iOS modules, ensuring high‑quality, production‑ready applications.

Key responsibilities

• Complete assigned mobile tasks and feature implementations that are comprehensive, well‑tested, and thoughtfully designed.
• Prioritize development activities with limited guidance and understand how they contribute to the SDK and mobile app goals.
• Proactively collaborate with cross‑functional team members to find optimal solutions for cross‑platform and native performance.
• Form opinions on complex mobile architecture and state‑management problems while seeking input from diverse team members.
• Recommend improvements to mobile processes, CI/CD pipelines, and address technical debt.
• Anticipate minor roadblocks such as App Store guidelines or OS updates and navigate them successfully.
• Manage expectations and accurately gauge effort required to achieve mobile objectives.

Required profile

• 3+ years of relevant mobile software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in React Native and JavaScript/TypeScript, with experience building, shipping, and maintaining production‑ready mobile applications.
• Solid native iOS development experience using Swift, with deep understanding of iOS frameworks, Apple design principles, and interface guidelines.
• Experience bridging native iOS modules with React Native.
• Familiarity with mobile application state management (e.g., Redux, Context API) and performance optimization.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written).
• Legally authorized to work in the EU.
