Mobile Developer (iOS or Android) – Lisbon

About the role

We are looking for a Mobile Developer skilled in either iOS or Android to join our client’s technology team in Lisbon. The role involves building high‑quality, highly available mobile applications that meet demanding performance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop robust, clean code using agile methodologies.
• Design and implement scalable mobile solutions with 99.999% availability.
• Collaborate with peers, share knowledge and promote best practices.
• Participate in the full development lifecycle: analysis, implementation, testing, deployment and support.
• Maintain operational excellence, including monitoring and incident handling.

Required profile

• Proven experience developing native iOS or Android applications.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent spoken English.
• Based in Lisbon.

Required skills

• Objective‑C, Swift, Java or Kotlin.
• Design patterns and object‑oriented design.
• iOS or Android app architecture.
• Integration with RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of network protocols, latency and reliability.
• Multithreading, request queueing and caching techniques.
• Continuous integration and deployment tools.
