Mid‑Senior Android Developer (Hybrid – Oeiras)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Android Developer to join KCS IT’s technology team. The position is mid‑senior level and works on a hybrid schedule (1‑2 days per week on‑site in Oeiras, Portugal). You will help design, build and maintain high‑quality Android applications for a variety of clients.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Android Developer.
• Hands‑on experience developing and maintaining Android mobile applications.
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin and the Android ecosystem.
• Experience integrating external APIs and working with version‑control systems such as Git.
• Understanding of mobile best practices and Agile development processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and continuously improve applications.
• Good written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Kotlin programming language.
• Android SDK and development tools.
• Git version control.
• REST API integration.
• Jetpack Compose (preferred).
• Android testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines (preferred).
• Mobile architecture patterns and design principles (preferred).
