Mid-level Software Engineer (C#/.NET) – Lisbon (Hybrid)

About the role

Wire IT is seeking a mid‑level Software Engineer to join its Lisbon team. You will help design and develop scalable, flexible software solutions for a variety of clients, working in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and implementation of customizable software applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in C#/.NET and at least one additional language (Python or Node.js).
• Collaborate with product, operations and content teams to deliver high‑quality features.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Model data and optimise queries for relational and non‑relational databases.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• C# and .NET framework.
• Python or Node.js.
• Understanding of software architecture principles.
• Experience with relational (SQL) and non‑relational (NoSQL) databases, including data modelling and query optimisation.
