Mid-level GCP DevOps Engineer (Nearshore)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented DevOps Engineer specializing in Google Cloud Platform to join our nearshore team in Lisbon, Portugal. You will design, implement and maintain cloud infrastructure that supports mission‑critical applications while collaborating with development and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage GCP infrastructure including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage and networking services.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines with Cloud Build and related automation tools.
• Implement containerisation with Docker and Kubernetes to improve scalability.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, ensuring high availability.
• Establish logging, monitoring and alerting systems using Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus or ELK stack.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure or systems administration.
• Strong expertise with Google Cloud Platform services and architecture.
• Hands‑on experience with Terraform, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of Linux/Unix system administration.
