Mid-level Frontend Developer (Hybrid, Porto)

About the role

We are looking for a mid-level Frontend Developer to join KCS IT’s Porto hub. The role is hybrid, allowing you to work both on-site and remotely while collaborating with a diverse set of clients across different sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain user-centric web interfaces using core frontend technologies.
• Implement features with a modern JavaScript framework, adapting to project needs.
• Write and maintain automated tests using tools such as Jest, Jasmine, Mocha, Playwright or Cypress.
• Collaborate closely with UX designers to translate visual concepts into functional products.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating user-focused design and implementation.
• Good level of English communication.
• Residency in Portugal, preferably already based in Porto.

Required skills

• HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).
• Testing tools/frameworks: Jest, Jasmine, Mocha, Playwright, Cypress.
