Mid Fullstack Java/React Developer – Nearshore

About the role

We’re looking for a talented Fullstack Java/React (or Angular) Developer to join our nearshore team serving a Belgian client. In this role you will design, develop and maintain robust full‑stack applications that support global customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services in Java and frontend interfaces using React (or Angular).
• Write clean, maintainable code and follow industry best practices.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate third‑party services.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and other developers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot issues and optimise application performance.
• Contribute to technical documentation and share knowledge within the team.
• Engage in agile ceremonies such as stand‑ups, sprint planning and retrospectives.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of professional experience as a developer.
• Proven experience with Java backend development and strong proficiency in React.js (or Angular) and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and experience with both relational (SQL) and non‑relational (NoSQL) databases.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
