Microsoft Systems Administrator – Lisbon (On-site)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Microsoft Systems Administrator to join our Talent Team in Lisbon. You will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing both on‑premise and cloud infrastructures, ensuring high availability and security for critical business applications.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and operate VMware‑based virtualised infrastructure.
• Manage the full lifecycle of virtual machines.
• Maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy Objects.
• Operate and support Microsoft Azure services.
• Monitor, analyse and resolve production incidents.
• Participate in capacity planning and resource optimisation.
• Implement security best practices and perform system hardening.
• Execute upgrades, patch management and scheduled maintenance.
• Collaborate with technology vendors and partners.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of infrastructure and processes.

Required profile

• Mid‑level experience as a System Administrator.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot production issues independently.
• Experience working in critical or regulated environments.
• Strong awareness of information‑security best practices.

Required skills

• VMware, Hyper‑V and Microsoft Azure.
• Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy Objects.
• Solid networking knowledge.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts.
• Scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
• Containerised environments.
• Backup and disaster‑recovery solutions.
• CI/CD pipeline tools.
