Medical Science Liaison – Neurosciences

About the role

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in Neurosciences is a field‑based scientific expert who supports AbbVie’s scientific and business objectives across the product life‑cycle within a designated geography. The MSL serves as the primary conduit for AbbVie’s scientific information, building relationships with healthcare professionals and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with thought leaders, academic centers, and researchers in neuroscience.
• Present scientific and therapeutic information to physicians, researchers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Support research initiatives, including site evaluation, recruitment, investigator meetings, and external collaborations.
• Act as an internal medical and scientific resource for disease‑state and product communications, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners and in‑field commercial teams to develop and execute account plans.

Required profile

• Strong clinical expertise and therapeutic area awareness in neuroscience.
• Ability to communicate complex scientific data clearly to diverse audiences.
• Experience building and sustaining relationships with key opinion leaders.
