Medical Doctor – International Medical Escort (Part‑time)

About the role

Korpus Global Care is seeking a qualified Medical Doctor for a part‑time, mission‑based remote position. You will provide in‑transit medical care for patients travelling internationally, ensuring safety and continuity of care throughout commercial and private flights.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct pre‑travel medical assessments and clearances.
• Monitor patient conditions during flights and administer treatments as needed.
• Make clinical decisions in line with evidence‑based protocols.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate medical logistics and hand‑overs.
• Participate in medical escort, repatriation, and travel‑medicine missions on short notice.

Required profile

• Medical degree with unrestricted registration.
• Solid experience in acute care and general practice.
• Ability to travel internationally at short notice and work independently.
• Fluent English; multilingual abilities are a plus.
• Based in Portugal (preferred) and holder of a valid passport.

Required skills

• Current ALS and ACLS certification.
• Additional certifications such as ATLS, PHTLS or ITLS are advantageous.
• Experience in pre‑hospital care, medical transport or expedition medicine.
