Mechanical Site Supervisor – Data Center

About the role

Quadrante is seeking a Mechanical Site Supervisor to lead mechanical works on a high‑tech data centre project in Sines. You will ensure that all mechanical installations meet project specifications, standards and safety requirements while coordinating closely with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all on‑site mechanical activities, guaranteeing compliance with drawings, specifications and applicable standards.
• Monitor subcontractors delivering HVAC, piping, fire‑protection and other mechanical systems.
• Ensure work progresses on schedule, within quality, safety and cost targets.
• Coordinate daily activities with civil, electrical and commissioning disciplines.
• Review method statements, technical submittals and approve equipment/materials.
• Participate in site meetings with clients, consultants and internal teams.
• Identify deviations, technical issues and risks, proposing corrective actions.
• Enforce HSE rules and promote a strong safety culture.
• Support testing, commissioning and hand‑over procedures.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification (mandatory).
• Professional experience as a Mechanical Supervisor or similar role, preferably on data‑center or large‑scale industrial projects.
• Solid knowledge of HVAC, piping and fire‑protection systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• High level of responsibility, autonomy and problem‑solving capability.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is highly valued.
• Availability to work on‑site full time.
