Mechanical Industrialization Engineer

About the role

As a Mechanical Industrialization Engineer you will develop and validate advanced assembly processes and innovative manufacturing technologies, working closely with internal and external partners. You will support the transition from prototype to mass production, ensuring robustness and efficiency on the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and validate advanced assembly processes and manufacturing technologies.
• Support industrialization and mass‑production ramp‑up by evaluating process requirements and line readiness.
• Analyze product requirements to optimise mechanical designs for manufacturing constraints.
• Lead and coordinate Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) reviews.
• Coordinate technical alignment between development departments and global manufacturing partners.

Required profile

• University degree (Bachelor's, Master's or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Automation or related field.
• More than 5 years of professional experience in mechanical design, process development, automation or industrialization.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Required skills

• Knowledge of mechanical assembly processes such as plastic injection molding, welding, gluing, taping and automated assembly systems.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD modelling and creation of technical drawings.
• Advanced understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Practical experience with PTC Creo.
• Ability to coordinate development, tooling and manufacturing partners.
