Mechanical Engineer - Cooling Parts

About the role

CTS Group is hiring Mechanical Engineers at three seniority levels to design, coordinate and deliver cooling systems and mechanical packages for mission‑critical data centre facilities across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Design cooling system components and mechanical packages from concept through IFC and as‑built stages.
• Select, size and integrate chillers, CRAHs, CDUs, pumps and heat‑rejection equipment.
• Ensure designs comply with codes, standards and client technical requirements.
• Coordinate with electrical, structural, architectural and special‑package teams.
• Support fast‑track delivery, constructability reviews, commissioning and handover.
• Answer RFIs and assist site teams during construction.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience in mission‑critical or industrial environments.
• Knowledge of critical cooling systems (CRAH/CRAC, chillers, liquid cooling, heat exchangers, pumps) and HVAC design for mission‑critical cooling.
• Understanding of redundancy concepts (N+1, 2N) and uptime requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in fast‑paced, high‑complexity projects.
