Mechanical Designer – Teamcenter & NX Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Designer to join our engineering team in Lisbon. You will work with leading MCAD tools and PLM systems to create, optimise and maintain mechanical designs for a variety of high‑impact projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and refine mechanical designs using Siemens NX or comparable MCAD tools.
• Maintain product data and visualisation within Teamcenter and other PDM/PLM platforms.
• Automate and extend MCAD applications through programming (NX Open, C#, C++, PowerShell, Visual Basic, Python).
• Support IT processes related to MCAD environments and ensure data quality.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to align design work with hardware development processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in mechanical design, MCAD support, or design process optimisation.
• Proficiency with Siemens NX or similar MCAD systems.
• Solid experience with Teamcenter, including Teamcenter Visualization, or other PDM/PLM solutions.
• Programming experience with NX Open and languages such as C#, C++, PowerShell, Visual Basic, or Python.
• Fluent English; Portuguese nationality or valid work permit for Portugal.
