Mechanical Design Engineer – Heat Pump Solutions

About the role

Join Bosch's Superstructure team in Aveiro and take charge of the mechanical design and development of heat‑pump solutions. You will turn complex requirements into robust, manufacturable components while collaborating with cross‑functional teams across the globe.

Key responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and development of components and assemblies for new and existing heat‑pump solutions, ensuring performance, manufacturability and compliance.
• Manage and execute design changes (ECRs) for quality improvements, cost optimisation and new feature integration.
• Maintain accurate article statuses, new article numbers and Bill of Materials in Teamcenter Engineering and SAP.
• Foster communication and collaboration with local and international teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Prepare detailed engineering results and design decisions for comprehensive technical documentation.
• Support the development of future generations of electric appliances and contribute proactively to the team environment.
