Material Planner Trainee – Supply Chain Planning

About the role

As a Material Planner Trainee at Forvia, you will support the planning of material flows to ensure production lines meet delivery targets while keeping inventory and logistics costs low. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in procurement, supplier coordination, and transportation planning within a sustainable mobility environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and level the procurement program by breaking down piece‑wise requirements.
• Monitor procurement execution, manage alerts, and oversee unloading, receipt, and transport of components.
• Track supplier delivery performance (Misdeliveries per Million) and logistics partner service, proposing improvement actions.
• Validate that the capacity defined in the Sales and Production Plan can be supported by suppliers and initiate corrective measures when needed.
• Execute the monthly transportation program and the semi‑annual transportation scheme.
• Manage direct packaging and ensure logistics compliance with purchasing and supplier conditions.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Management or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with suppliers, logistics partners and internal teams.
