Material Planner / Traffic Scheduler

About the role

Join Forvia as a Central Material Planner / Traffic Scheduler and take ownership of daily material procurement and transport execution. You will ensure that production schedules are met while optimizing costs and service levels across inbound and outbound logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily procurement processes for serial materials, respecting production schedules and SLA commitments.
• Monitor plan execution, raise alerts, and manage risks to minimise impact on production.
• Guarantee that plants receive required materials and resources on time.
• Manage and optimise transport flows (road, sea, air) including FTL, LTL and shared loads.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and participate in problem‑solving working groups.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial, transport or supply‑chain management.
• First experience in transport operations or material planning.
• Strong customer orientation, team spirit and ability to work under pressure.
• Minimum bilingual proficiency (English + another language).
