Material Planner

About the role

Join Trane Technologies as a Material Planner to ensure timely delivery of materials from suppliers, prevent shortages, and support production continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and schedule material deliveries, monitor inventory levels, and maintain safety stock.
• Procure production, inventory, and MRO items cost‑consciously and on time.
• On‑board new suppliers, maintain ABC classification, and support PFEP processes.
• Identify and resolve quality issues with suppliers and manage shortage root‑causes.
• Analyze cost, cash‑flow opportunities, and lead KanBan and supplier replenishment initiatives.
• Coordinate with production planners, quality assurance, and procurement to meet critical delivery requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience in material planning, inventory management or lean manufacturing.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (fully bilingual).

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using ERP systems; Oracle knowledge is a plus.
