Manufacturing Test Engineer – Relocation to Tilburg

About the role

We are seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer to join Tesla’s Remanufacturing team in Tilburg. The role focuses on ensuring the performance, reliability and availability of automated test equipment for battery packs, drive units and energy systems, while driving continuous improvement in a fast‑paced, innovation‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Increase tester uptime, hardware reliability, software stability, cycle time and first‑pass yield.
• Work closely with Manufacturing, Process, Quality and Maintenance Engineering to meet equipment performance targets and resolve gaps.
• Analyse pre‑deployment data and Voice‑of‑Customer feedback to anticipate post‑deployment issues.
• Develop, validate and commission manufacturing test systems and deliver complete documentation for production hand‑over.
• Provide post‑deployment support, including root‑cause analysis and corrective actions for test system failures.
• Assist with equipment debugging, qualification and ramp‑up for new or updated production lines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Hands‑on experience with high‑voltage test systems, automation equipment, industrial sensors and data‑acquisition hardware.
• Eligibility to work in the Netherlands (EU citizenship or valid work permit).
