Manufacturing Maintenance Technician I – 3rd Shift

About the role

Medtronic is seeking a Maintenance Technician I for the 3rd shift (9:30 pm – 6:00 am) to perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and basic repairs on manufacturing equipment and facility systems. The role supports daily production by identifying issues early and maintaining accurate work records.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair line manufacturing or plant equipment.
• Locate and diagnose failures, replace defective components, and perform basic troubleshooting using electronic equipment, drawings, and manuals.
• Maintain maintenance and repair logs and use hand, power, and test tools.
• May redesign optical, vacuum, electrical, electronic, or mechanical systems for existing equipment.
• Estimate labor and equipment costs and prepare requisitions as needed.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of relevant technical experience or equivalent training/education.
• Detail‑oriented, dependable, able to work independently and in a team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Familiarity with GMP, SOPs, and quality systems is a plus.
• Physical ability to perform the duties and meet mobility requirements.

Required skills

• Troubleshooting and basic mechanical aptitude.

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, diagrams, and specifications.
