Managing Director

About the role

AUMOVIO, a leading independent technology company in automotive mobility, is seeking a Managing Director to lead the strategic integration and operational excellence of its plant organization. The role is responsible for driving quality, cost, asset, and delivery performance while fostering a culture of safety, sustainability, and innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Own the plant P&L and budget, ensuring accountability for revenue, EBIT/EBITDA, productivity, cost optimization, and working capital.
• Translate corporate and Business Area strategies into actionable plant‑level plans that boost customer satisfaction and profitability.
• Lead the implementation of the Technology Roadmap, expanding capacity, introducing manufacturing innovations, and aligning with Industry 4.0 standards.
• Champion zero‑defect quality standards and continuous improvement across all operations.
• Develop organizational capability through strategic workforce planning, competency development, and knowledge‑management programs.
• Represent AUMOVIO in industry committees, local associations, and community forums, promoting corporate social responsibility.
• Ensure full compliance with legal, regulatory, environmental, and internal governance requirements.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Management or related field.
• MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred; executive education in leadership, strategy or operations is a plus.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, including at least 5 years in a senior plant leadership role.
